Dear All,

I've actually got a VCO working...
its uses a -600mV/Oct scale but is exponential
and is fairly stable (providing you dont stand
a cup of hot coffe on the log converter tranny)
It only takes about 5-10 Mins before its stable.
The -600mV/Oct can be changed easily
with the addition of an opamp to 1v/Oct.
Its not my design but Im gonna modify
it a bit more and try and make it stable quicker
and REALLY temp stable.
Its based on the PE Minisonic VCO kindly
photocopied and sent to me by Pete Swarbrick,
it uses nice common cheap components all of
which available from anywhere.
	Couple of 741's, a 748, a BC184, BC213
(I think, it mighta been a 214) and few caps and
resistors, total cost including Vero board,
about 10 pounds (UK).
Ive added a couple of caps on the 6.2V
supply and a couple more on the 10V supply.
I used an lm317 and 337 to get the 10v
and two 6.2v zeners for the +/- 6.2V. This all
runs from a nice +/-18V 4A psu I found, which
will sit in my rack and any modules I do build
will have their Own regulators on board to make
life nice and stable.

Just thought I'd share my excitement!!!
