inexpensive pots ?

I used these in my modular - it does get expensive. I've probably spend over 
$300 on pots and knobs (I also got some of the fancier $8 ones). The $4 ones 
are nice but a little cheap. If you push really hard on the shaft, the back 
will pop off.

The Mouser 313-1000 "Minature Carbon Comp. pots are pretty good, but could get 
cruddy after time and humidity sets in.

I'd like to know if anyone knows of a small-scale distributor for Alps pots in 
the USA.
