The first part of my VC-Noise Gen / Complex Waveform Gen is working
well. It provides 3 CMOS clock outputs at F, F/2 and F/4. I
discovered that there is a 'best linearity' zone to it's operation.
This zone spans about 6 and a half octaves c-c and I have taylored the
range components to keep it there. It stays in tune very well across
the entire keyboard (5 octaves c-c) within that range. There is also a
switch to bypass the high end limit to allow it to go above the range
of human hearing. In this range it is still useful, tho not musically,
for clocking a noise generator. In it's musically useful range, I am
clocking a small FSR with very a simple feedback system. Now that I
have the musical range nailed down I will build up the Complex Waveform
generator. It should produce some interesting sounds. Unfortunately,
the weekend endeth and the soldering iron must be unplugged...
