Hi Erik,

Thanks for the response.
I know my way around a synth pretty well, I have a few you see.
Like I said to Martin I am sure the Paia Fatman is great but it is not 
what I am really after and there is no point me spending about £150 on 
something I don't really want.

I haven't had a synth I couldn't fix or tidy-up yet but it is mainly the 
more obvious repairs I can manage, e.g one oscillator isn't making a 
noise so it must be one of those op amps there, near where it says osc1 
on the circuit board!

I have had quite a few encouraging comments from you and others on the 
list so I will take the plunge in a little while.
