I've had a really good solution for my holes here, in my rack panelling.
For the following units:

- Offshore (cheap! :) ) pots
- Piher 21HE6 Linear or Log pots
- Switchcraft #11 or offshore (cheap again! :) ) 1/4" jacks
- EF Johnson and HH Smith banana jacks

(IE: 95% of all parts that go into my panels)

I punch the hole first. Then I drill it on the press with a 1/8" drill bit.
Then I redrill every hole on the drill press with a 3/8" drill bit. In
every case above, I have a perfect fit.

That does solve a LOT of previous problems. (5mm LEDs and mini-toggle
switches for SPST and up to 4PDT all fit into a 1/4" hole instead).

Hope this helps anyone out there. Chris? :)

Take care all,
Ric
