Joysticks

To all that had been asking about joysticks!

I just received the two 'Industrial Precision Joysticks' that I ordered from
Electronic Goldmine.

Quick Review:

They are entirely made of plastic and very light. The feel is excellent!
Very smooth with no binding. They are spring set to return to center. Each
axis (x & y) has its own pot, 5K linear, with a trim setting that physically
moves the pot itself. This would allow one to center zero a circuit.

It includes a switch on the end of the 'stick' that has three wires. A
quick test with a DMM shows that it appears to be an SPST, normally open
switch even though there are three wires. No idea what the third is for!!!

It includes the necessary trim parts and screws for a very clean panel mount
look.

Is it worth $7.95, yes! Would it be worth an 'Industrial Price', probably not!
