Yes, I like the idea of putting up a web page on actual building of
analog synths, with as much pictures as possible. But what I first
like to see is the usual FAQ file, with questions and answers, put
on synth-diy home page at horus.sara.nl, like:

[synth_diy_faq.txt]

Q: What books on electronics should I get?

A: Look for these:

"The Art of Electronics" (second edition) by Paul Horowitz and Winfield Hill
ISBN 0-521-37095-7 and is published by Cambridge University Press.

(and so on)
This information is already there on the AH and synth-diy mailing list
archives, but somebody could collect it together. So, what you think about it?
