OB8 processor board help needed

I'm getting severe headache debugging a faulty OB8 processor board :-(
I even went to the length of hiring another OB8 so I could cross-check the
chips (esp. the ROMS) and they _all_ work fine. The only chips I didn't
check were the RAM, of which two were replaced with band new chips and the
third is any one of eight used ones I have lying around. The MIDI board,
bender board and front panel board all checked out fine as well. When you
boot up, the processor just seems to get stuck in a loop. I will not be
beaten! If anyone has any advice it would be appreciated. Does a dubugging
ROM exist?
