Using the output of VCO1 as the FM source for VCO2 and using
the output of VCO2 as the FM control of VCO1 is called
cross-modulation. Turn the frequency potmeter while playing some
notes and do your own shortwave-radio show.
If you have VCOs that can do PWM on the square waves you can do
ringmodulator sounds without ringmodulator. Use the square wave
of VCO1 to control the PWM input of VCO2 and VCO2 will (with
some twiddling) get you shortwave- and bell like sounds, as
ringmodulators do.
