Dear all,
I have something for kevin to consider
its ok haveing an ARP2600 in a tiny box the size
of a module from a moog, BUT...
Wheres all the flexability gone? Knobs,
sliders and patch sockets? Small is neat and
effective but not flexible, and also it does look
as good on stage to have a 19" rack with 5 or 6
modules on. I'd rather have 5 or 6 40u 19" racks!
Anyhow, I have a question..
I have a dream, I would like to make a 1v/oct VCO
capable of gicing out a square wave at 10 (or 16)
times the frequency required. Linking this to a
CMOS 10 (or 16) way switch and putting lots of
sliders on the output of each stage. Thus giving
me the ability to "DRAW" a wave shape, I could
also include inputs to allow voltage control of
each of the stages so permitting real time control
of the shape (analog wave sequencing!).
I belive either the old EMU or PPG used to
have this ability.
Any thoughts???
