Surface mount synths??

Any thoughts on making a surface mount, all analog "voice" board, similar
to an SEM or ASM-1?

Although I have no experience and am not talking very seriously about doing
it, it would seem that one could fit a lot of analog voices in a "normal"
sized keyboard.

Temperature concerns-I guess, but that's what autotune is for. Smaller
things cooler off quicker too.

Crosstalk- ???

You could fit an Arp 2600 worth of analog into the size of a single Moog
module too.


Any thoughts on this?
