What the world needs is.....

I'm wondering what the response would be to an analog synthesizer
that combined most of the typical modules/functions we all are familiar with
into one small suitcase kind of a thing, like the Putney and similar
systems of years ago. Basically a noisemaker for real-time use. Knobs
and controller inputs for varying parameters, probably an on-board
sequencer (or 2,3,.....). But what I'm mainly thinking of is something
that has realtime controlability. Maybe optimize the design for
stereo. Effects would probably have to remain separate (everyone
would gripe about them anyway).

How do the majority of the users of the infamous TB-303 use it? Is
it to generate rythmic bizarre bass lines/sequences that a simple
sequencer design could perform? The key here is if high accuracy
and repeatability can be sacrificed for function, would it sell?
