well, i built a v-trig to s-trig convertor. no luck there. i tried to figure
out some other way of syncing the vortex to my setup, with no luck. untill
monday night. here's what i did:
1. msq-700 as main clock source,
2. sync out from the msq goes to my second 606's sync in,
3. write whatever "sync pattern" i need (using the BD),
4. BD audio out goes into ESP section of my ms-20,
5. adjust ms-20's audio input and trig threshold levels,
6. ms-20's ESP trigger output goes to vortex tap input on back.
well, it's not the easiest way of doing it, but it works (though the ms-20
becomes a VERY expensive sync box in doing so).

and for the "playing live" threads, syncing the vortex through the 606 also
lets you "play the vortex", therefore making the vortex a true "effects
instrument".
