The Analog Devices multiplier chips (AD533, AD534) can also be configured
as dividers [actually, I'm not certain about the 533, you might want to
check the data sheet, which you can download from their web site]. So you
could put a constant voltage on the numerator side and the CV on the
denominator.
The 533 is considerably cheaper but requires trimming; the 534 is pre-trimmed.
