have a poly mode option, for playing chords on a single MIDI channel?

The exemplar code that I posted a few weeks ago plays intervals (two
pitch outputs with velocity and gate for each as well as CVs from
pitch and mod wheels) and one of the modes in the first production
PROM is 4 Pitch CV and 4 Gates. There's a planned future mode that
will split Pitch CVs, Velocity CVs and Gates between two or three
midi2cv8s to give 8 of each. These modes all use a rotational
assignment from a mono channel or a poly mode assignment.

I couldn't agree more that there is room in the world for more than
one of these gadgets, which is fortunate because the ones that are on
the market now are formidable :-) I think that over time we'll be
offering several different PROM sets with modes appropriate for
different application areas - one that has a selection of modes most
usable in lighting control, one with modes most useful in
retro-fitting, one for control of modulars, a justly-intoned one and
one heavy on transients and LFOs are the general areas that I see now.
The initial "generic" prom tries to touch on all these areas.

BTW, is AH down, or did I finally get bounced for letting my aol
mailbox overflow?

And- I've really been surprised by the lack of Buzz about Ed Dell's
new magazine, "Performer's Audio". Is it because nobody knows? Those
who know Ed's work with Audio Amateur, Glass Audio, Old Colony, et.
al. have to be excited that there will finally be a US magazine
publishing music DIY that understands what DIY is. I informally
queried them on some stuff and they seem pretty open to doing the
kinds of things that get discussed here. The first issue is supposed
to be out in January. They read mail at audiotech at top.monad.net and
probably have some sort of first-issue free deal. Their phone is
603-924-9464. If you get in touch, tell 'em the old honcho sent you?
Maybe it will earn me some brownie points :-)
