  These are certainly not the only trimmer that can be left off by the
  expense-concious builder.

  Gene did us a great service by putting in all possible triimming options
  - but you need not use them all.

  The Gate Level - for instance. I have all my gates hard set to 3.15v by
  always using a 20K/75K divider on the gate inputs. Imperfect resistors
  may make one gate trigger level slightly different from another - but
  with 1% resistors (that are A LOT cheaper than trimmers!) this is not
  much of a problem. It's easy to solder in two resistors into thge spot
  where the trimmer goes - so y'all might wanna give it a try....
