I'm taking a course in signal processing right now, and even though I
haven't got really into it yet, our literature seems quite interesting.
It's titled "A digital signal processing primer" by Ken Steiglitz.
ISBN 0-8053-1684-1
Addison-Wesley Publishing Company
2725 Sand Hill Road
Menlo Park, CA 94025-7092
It contains the principles and maths behind signals, waves, sampling,
quantizing, filtering, fouriertransform and a chapter of musical/audio
applications.
Math tend to give me "dolores capitis", but this seem interesting anyway.
There's said to be an URL for this book too:
http://www.aw.com/cseng/authors/steiglitz/dspp/dspp.html
(haven't tried it yet...)
Peace!
/P.
