Ya' know... If it wasn't for all the great messages that I got from folks
in helping me to understand just where I was going wrong, this statement
alone would just piss the hell out of me.

Have you ever looked at something, felt that you had an understanding of
it, took a passionate stab at explaining what you were thinking, trying to
sway the world to your side, only to find out that you missed something
that completely tossed your theories into the water?

Did you take it well? Did you stand up and say "Whoops, I've been humbled
today, and thank you all for your time"?

Did you bother to read the message I left to the list (about six hours
before you decided to write) saying just that, before firing off this gem
of yours? Do you think that I want to hear something like what you said at
this point? Do you think that this makes me wanna learn EXACTLY what it was
that I didn't understand? Do you understand what the concept of an open
email forum like this is? Do you have a problem with folks sharing their
theories and opinions, wrong or not, with the hopes of being CONSTRUCTIVELY
set straight if needbe. Have you noticed anyone else in this thread saying
"Mark, you're wrong. just shutup." Did you notice anyone else having a
problem with what I saw as a VERY constructive thread from front to back?
Did you happen to notice that Bret Schiettecatte, the guy who started this
thread, came out and said "thank you" to me for trying to draw out what he
was thinking?

Do you have a clue? Are you just always this nice to people?

You know... Maybe you meant to drop a smiley in there or maybe it's just
the harshness of translating from Finnish to English. But going back and
reading your tone and prose in general, it seems to me that you're just too
good for your own pants.

Have a great day Tero... I will.

Mark
