I recently ordered a copy of Barry Klein's 'Electronic Music Circuits', from
the author (USA), and I live in the UK. It was sent via FedEx; I sent Barry
travellers cheques as payment, although there are risks paying this way (no
insurance). I got the book within 10 days; about 300 pages and binder. No
problem. :)
