  Hmmm, this is very much like the envelope generator I designed (with help
  from Juergen - thanks JH!) last spring. I HAVE a schem for this one. It
  is VC-able AD or AR generator that sends an output pulse when the
  envelope finishes. It can also be switched to work as a CV-able slew
  limiter with seperate rise and fall rates. When set up this way, the
  output will track the gate input, and the using the trigger input at the
  same time does weird stuff :). Getting this to switch between the two
  functions with a single DPDT switch was one of my funnest EE
  acomplishments - and I miss having Matt Haines around as a springboard
  for ideas...

  I HAVE a schem in gif format for this if anyone wants it. It's not the
  world's most efficient design, but it works, and has CV time constansts
  from about 1ms to 40 or 50seconds...
