Yep. I can vouch that the Digi env is pretty variable on it's triggering.
I have an env design that I fancy too, but the biggest thing going for it,
would be an "end of cycle gate."
If an env did a gate at the end of the R stage (comparator and one shot?),
many units could be linked for multipart env's or fed back and used as an
LFO or osc ala Serge/Buchla. I've seen env's with LED's for the separate
stages too, I'm just not sure where, but of course those LED's vould just
as well be gate outs too.
