Optoisolators n stuff

     Just a few short questions, folks!


   What are a few of the best optoisolators for MIDI? I know about

  the PC900, but are there anything else out there better/cheaper?


   The other question is about mute circuits - I am modifying my

  Six Trak to have 6 individual outputs, and i want to mute them 

  whenever Autotune is running ( for those who don't know, when 

  you first turn on the Six Trak, it mutes the voices so you don't

  hear it autotuning - However, it only works on the MIX output

  [normal mono out], and, it also autotunes itself when left idle

  for a few minutes.) So you can see why I'd want it to mute when

  it autotunes! (the mute ckt. in the sixtrak is rather inelegant -

  I'd rather not copy it 6x!)
