   1) What are your preferred number of stages (1x16, 2x8, etc)?

Definately multiples of 16!

   2) How fast should a sequencer be able to cycle through its stages?

>From v. slow to v. fast i.e. really fast so that it can almost be a
programmable multi stage LFO!

   3) What kind of outboard devices do you use to control/tweak the
       sequencer with?

I would probably drive it from my System 100M sequencer or from MIDI via my
synchroniser...

   4) What features would you like to find on a sequencer?
I would like to have each row of control pots to have a divide down circuit so
that the incoming clock can be divided by whatever frequency takes your fancy.
This enables one row to do 1/4's and another row to do 8ths. This should be
fairly easy to do using a 4017 or a 4024 etc....

   5) What features do you not use on your sequencer?

!!!!?!?!??!

   6) Add additional comments...

Congrats on undertaking this project, I for one applaud the sequencing of
things by analogue means! Its great having a stack of analogue sound
producing/modifying circuits but analogue sequencers make it all ROCK!

Cheers, Dave...
