Analog Sequencer Poll

I'm getting rather excited about starting another (yet another!) synth
project. I'm currently in the process of routing a circuit board for the
Superseque project (thanks for the individuals responsible for getting
the schematics on AH!). Should be done in a week or less I imagine.
Anyway, as I was looking through the schematics, I've noticed a few
areas of improvement (simply because I can't leave anything original!)
that I think would greatly increase the functionality of the original
design. However, since I've never owned an analog sequencer, I don't
know what exactly I'll be able to do with it or what neat things I will
want on it after I've already built it.
So...I'd like to hear from all the analog sequencer owners and find
out a few things (consider it a questionnaire):
1) What are your preferred number of stages (1x16, 2x8, etc)?
2) How fast should a sequencer be able to cycle through its stages?
3) What kind of outboard devices do you use to control/tweak the
sequencer with?
4) What features would you like to find on a sequencer?
5) What features do you not use on your sequencer?
6) Add additional comments...
To peak some of your curiosity, I am making the Superseque board at
the exact same dimensions as the ASM-1 board. This includes mounting
holes and power supply connections. This will make it easy for anyone to
integrate the two projects, once I get working boards going.
Don't email me asking to reserve any boards. I'm not going to release
anything until I know it works. I'll post in the event that I have
something to offer the rest of you.
In the meantime, those of you that would like to help me along some,
respond to my questionnaire and give me some feedback!
Thanks in advance,
Tony
