Nice that you have them running!
BTW. Troy sent a private mail to me but I replied on the list since I thougth
more people could enjoy the information.
Also, it is worth noting that an miss-oriented 2N4391 will heat up itself and
the CA3140 and LM311 considerable since the CA3140 will output a +15V and the
LM311 will pull to -15V and the only thing inbetween is the 2N4391 with it's
source and gate... so you be warned!
