Anders - 

I think you may be referring to Dewtron. I remember sending off for
their leaflets. They used to quote Jimmy Page of Led Zepellin as a user.
If I remember right, their modules were all discrete, linear response,
simple circuits and not particularly stable. They offered a switching
matrix for patching with individual switches that snapped together like
Lego!

But as for names and addresses, well, the best I can suggest is to
search some issues of UK Practical Electronics for that period.
(Do this and you may also come across articles by the unsung British
electronic music pioneer, Fred Judd.)
