It's for the courts now.

Mike is in Buffalo, NY not boulder. But as I understand it, they are
together in this against Don.
He also has Jim Suchora, ex-stage electronics head (remember minimoog '93).

Sure. Nothing is all that special. 99% of it I can find. Hand soldering and
wiring is another thing.

I can get the same switches, pots, lamps, knobs, wood, aluminum,
components... whatever.
There may be substitutions, but I'm certain 20 years passing has only
helped such an endeavor.
Possibly the front panel finish or lettering would be slightly different too.

Problem is, I can build a Ferrari the same way. It still wouldn't be a Ferrari.
Ferrari could fold and I could change my name to Ferrari and do it too.
Still, no Ferrari.

Can I be Walt Disney?

In my opinion, it's just so dumb to do a company like Don's. Different
time, economy, competition, labor, parts, suppliers, location, worker
experiences, motivation, dealer and support network.....EVERYTHING is
different....and this to make the SAME thing that was around 20 years ago?
This guy had a dream, but no experience, IMHO. He should be commended for
doing so well so far. But the possibility exists that a ceast and desist
order will be issued and he may not be able to sell more product. His
lawyers may milk him dry in the meanwhile. He may not even be able to
legally advertise. What's REALLY funny, is that the products he apparently
has sold, may now become collectors items, if he loses!!

Ever been to a chili cookoff? Same ingredients, 40 entries... every one
tastes different.

Please, this will be the last of the Moog diatribe for me here. This is not
AH... Anyone ELSE wanna DIY a Moog company?
