>Does anyone know the exact differences between LM/CA 3046 and 3086's???
This bothered me for years, but I had let it go until you brought it
up...Thanks (NOT) ; )
All I could find is that in the low frequency, small signal equivalent
circuit characteristics, the "typical" Forward Current Transfer Ratio (hFE)
is 100 for the 3086, and 110 for the 3046. (But the graphs for this
parameter in the RCA Linear Integrated Circuits Book (SSD-240B) look
identical for both ICs.)
I'm kind of surprised that you notice a difference "in circuit". (But maybe
you've found the "unpublished" difference.)
Anyone else?
