An idea I have on hold 'til a rainy day - replace the clock circuit in a delay 
pedal with a Phase locked loop and divider circuit to allow delay times to be 
synchronised to a din sync clock signal, then selected as a ratio of note length 
rather than an absolute time. Delays times should then automatically adjust to 
changes in tempo.
