    - Like you had said elsewhere, reversable attenuation on the module
      itself. This allows for onboard CV inverting for ping-pong effects.

    - Variable gain on the CV in. Seems weird, but to be able to overdrive
      the gain input of a VCA is kinda' wild. You get a nice bit of noise
      in the output as the VCA tries to provide more gain than it can.

    - Multiple AUDIO ins, (saves on a mixer in some cases).

    - Definitely make it DC capable.

I have all of these on a pair of customized Moog 902 VCAs and I love the
results.
