Ok, you don't have any linear VCO's, so you don't control them by
MIDI (;->), but seriously:

As MIDI is not more than a crutch for me either, I still use it for layering
sounds (but not for sequencing anymore). But I still dream of a
DIY keyboard for my Modular that works without processor stuff.
We had this topic a while ago, and I won't bring up pro's and cons
again, but I have taken another deep look into those n-voice
keyboard scanning schematics last weekend.
It's very, very mind-boggling with all this random feedback around
flipflops and counters, and I am still far from understanding it all,
but the more I look at it, the more I love it. All this restet/continue and
reasign stuff ... increadible. I think I got this portion now - still musing
over the split stuff, however.
Gene's SEM-like project has brought up a dream of mine again -
maybe when JH-3 is finished, I go Polyphonic as well!

BTW: On my request about CEM's and SSM's in local newspapers
I got offers more than I can use myself, on the CEM side. Not much
VCO's, but dozens of VC envelopes, filters and VCA's. I could
litterally spend one thousand (!) dollars on CEMs now - but I still hesitate
because
I am not sure if I could bring in my expenses again if I would buy
so much more than I could use myself.
Just checking how large the interest would be if I would resell them on
DIY ...

JH.
