Ok, i know this is a memory chip as it's in a circuit that expands the
capacity of a CV sequencer (the previously mentionned csq-600), but
i cant find it anywhere in databooks here.
It's a NEC8251EY and no, it is not a 8251, not the same thing at all
it's really a memory device of somesort, 18 pin if i remember correctly.
I've tried accessing NEC semiconductor www site but the page doesn't exist
anymore.
I'll post more about this weirdly modded csq later (i learnt today that
it had been modified by staff at Roland in Montreal).
