Unfortunately not at all.

I think the courve shown in the data sheet is the "linear" one!
It's only linear between approx. 0.5V and 2V. Below 0.5V,
you'd have some expo-or-the-like rolloff. Below 0.20V, the signal
is completely cut off. Unfortunately,this threshold varies a lot from unit
to unit (and maybe also with temperature).

PS.: Does anybody know in what context the 3320's are used in the
BANANA synths? Matthias Becker writes in his Book that there
are several of these inside the BANANA. So maybe there is
a way to use them as "normal" VCA's - maybe they use the expo
input - don't know.
