Hi!
I found that my local source for electronic components
has switched to those Cramolin sprays, which all of You
techs in USA always were speaking of. Now, as we are
"compatible", I have a question about cleaning potentiometers.
There was a discussion some time ago, and I don't (!) want to
start the discussion once again (Some people use contact
cleaner, others - like me - *warn* to use contact cleaner,
in their darkest hours some of us used contact cleaner
and then *sold* the synth, not bothering what would happen
a week later ... well, all this stuff)
I just remember one mail of somebody saying he used a special
cleaner spray *plus* a special lubricant spray afterwards to
avoid the well-known bad effect of cleaners on pots.
This seemed reasonable to me, and I think it was widely
accepted by others on the list. But alas, I haven't kept
this mail, nor do I remember whose advice this was - so I
just ask if anybody could tell me exactly which sprays of the
Cramolin product line were suggested.
Thanks,
JH.
