Memory battery

i recently picked up an Oberheim DMX drum machine for $17,
because the guy thought it was trashed. after cleaning the
sliders and push buttons it's working fine, except for the
memory. the battery is shot, and unfortunitly it doesn't have
any specs on it. is this most likely a standard 3.5v mem.
battery? does it matter if i replace it with one of a higher
amp rating. i just assume spending the $2 extra for the
battery with the highest amperage, then trying to track down a
service manual or schematics.

thanks
-tony
