Anyone know what this IC is?

I have 4 of these MM5056 ICs

The logo is familiar, but I don't know what it is either.

sort of like that.

Anyway, I think they have audio applications, but I'm not sure.

I would appreciate any info.  I looked thru my files and I don't find a 
spec sheet, which I usually get and always keep.
