If that pitches your tent, then you really need a Rhodes Chroma. You can
activate the "Thumper" (a solenoid that whacks the back of the front panel)
thru MIDI, and entertain yourself for hours. When you get tired of it, you
can disable it w/ software control.
Is there a good reason a 5V EG can't have its output amped up to +12V?
(while you're at it, add switches to make it bipolar and/or negative)
