There is no problem to build a "multi-bandpass filter with 
voltagecontrollable
parameters (Q,A,fo)". Just take a few SEM or ELEKTOR filters and replace
some pots by some VCA's. That's all.
I wish it would be that easy with the 2040 "clone"!
