Nice design, with the damping pot continuously changing the slope filter
from pasive PI to Lag ! Can't await to hear how it sounds with overshot !

A question: Usually PPLs like symmetrical squares at their inputs.
How does it work and sound with narrow pulses? Any difference to
squares?

An idea: Replacing the input amplifier with a schmitt-trigger (maybe just
change + and - inputs of the opamp) would make the circuit usable with
other than pulse waveforms as an input.
