I just got this brand new (unpacked in its shielded bag) serial converter from Advantech.

RS232 to RS422-485.  

 





Here is what this converter is made for:

 

ADVANTECH BB-4WSD9R / BB4WSD9R (BRAND NEW) CONVERTER, 
RS-232 TO RS-485, EXTEND RS-232 DATA SIGNALS UP TO 1.2 KM (4,000 FT.), 
DATA RATE: 115.2 KBPS, QUICK - INLINE INSTALLATION, 
DIP SWITCH SELECTABLE RS-422 OR RS-485, RS-232 PORT POWER OR EXTERNAL 12 VDC POWER JACK 
(POWER SUPPLY NOT INCLUDED)

 

This converter sells for around $125USD 
I’d let it go for $60USD + shipping.
again the picture is for showing only.
The converter for sale is unpacked in its original shielded bag.
