    <p>I did a bit of researching about the bugs. I had no idea that
      MS's new MIDI Services included virtual MIDI cables (the same
      function as LoopMIDI). I also read info that tells me setting it
      up is not nearly as simple as LoopMIDI. <b>Has anybody reading
        this tried to use virtual MIDI cables from Windows MIDI
        Services? Did it work?</b></p>

                  <div>Yes, but can be dicey right now. The new MIDI
                    services that rolled out in February broke lots of
                    things. Patches are coming and fixes for most things
                    are out now and will be rolling out for the next
                    several weeks. There is a Discord group for the
                    Microsoft MIDI services you might want to look up.
                    Everything is there.
