The seller applied the plastic wrapping only around the long ends of the OB-X, without sealing off the short ends. Those were the voids where foam peanuts got inside.

<div>Even if all ends were wrapped and sealed, just try and unwrap the plastic without foam peanut pieces clinging to the wrap via static attraction.</div>

What magical foam peanuts penetrate plastic? There are polystyrene and starch packing peanuts, very different nuts. Neither will penetrate something sealed plastic, that's some supernatural shit you experienced.
