I just got off a call with Paul Schreiber's wife Tammy who let me know <br>
that he passed away in the hospital this morning while waiting for heart <br>
surgery. I've been chatting with him almost daily over the last few <br>
weeks and he was in good spirits, hopeful for his upcoming procedure and <br>
a quick recovery. We'd been working on some new ideas that he was <br>
planning to release for production later this year.<br>

Paul was a consummate engineer with deep roots in music and technology <br>
and had worked on portions of the TRS-80 ecosystem, the Realistic <br>
Concert-Mate MG-1 synth, the MOTM modular system and many Eurorack <br>
modules. He had been an active participant in the early days of this <br>
mailing list and was well known for strong opinions although in recent <br>
years he spent more of his online time on other forums.<br>
<br>
Paul and I began working together in 2007 after I'd posted a little <br>
digital oscillator project to this list. Our collaboration resulted in <br>
many of the Synthesis Technology Eurorack modules from the first E350 <br>
Morphing Terrarium oscillator to the final E520 Hyperion processor. He <br>
was fun to work with and a great friend. I will miss him.<br>
