I will miss Paul. Over the course of a few years, I spent more time on the phone with Paul than with anyone else outside of my family and work. When he started MOTM, and I started building my own system, he offered to help me troubleshoot a module over the phone, and our phone calls became a regular thing. I recorded some of the early MOTM demos for him and hosted the audio files on my website. My dad screen printed panels for one-off modules that Dave and Larry built. Years later, after Paul had gone fully into Eurorack, he repaired a few of my MOTM modules for free. I last saw him in 2017 at Machines in Music.

Paul helped create quite a wonderful community in the late 90s/early 00s. We were devoted to Paul, and he was devoted to us. I still have the polo shirt, the baseball cap, a 30+ unit system, and his voice in my head.
