<br><br>It depends somewhat on what you need.  The Handbook emphasizes basic theory<br>and design methods, with a fair number of practical circuits.  BGPCC is the<br>other way around -- more circuits and less theory.  Either one will keep
<br>you adequately entertained while you save up for the other.<br><br>Also consider the offer for the "core" issues.  I forget how much they<br>cost, but they will also cover most of what you need, at least starting out.
