I was thinking I could simplify the user interface somewhat compared to a Yamaha DX7. First thing would be to remove any unnecessary algorithms.<BR>

So, my question to you is as follows: Which is your favourite (DX7) FM algorithm for (growly) bass?<BR>

I examined some bass patches residing in the public domain. The most popular algo seems to be 17, followed by 16 and 18. (A DX7 algorithm chart can be found here:<BR>
