Hi,<br>  I built Ray Wilsons sample hold circuit today, and have a question about the mpf102.<br>  http://www.musicfromouterspace.com/analogsynth/singlechipsampleandhold/singlechipsampleandhold.html<br>  He says a 2n5457 should work.  At my local electronics store I  asked for a mpf102, and when I got home I noticed they were 2n5485's.<br>  My circuit is not working.  I etched the PCB and it was my first  time etching... so that may be the problem.  (although I did  inspect it very closely, and it looked fine)<br>  <br>  I did make the modification to the circuit that he suggested for the 2n5457.  (removed diode, replaced w/ resistor)<br>  <br>  Thanks for any help<br>  <p>
