Has anyone built the Ray Wilson ADSR? I built two of them. One works fine, but the other does not work. Two of the IC's get hot when it has power. I have checkd every solder point. I have checked every component value. I have checked the polarity on everything. I have checked that all of the diodes are ok. I removed all of the IC's, put in IC Sockets and installed all new IC's. I still have the exact same problem!
I can't think of anything else to try. I am about to give up,
If anyone has built it and knows a little more about electronics than I, maybe you could think of a reason IC's U3 (cd40106) and U4 (cd4066) are getting hot. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

http://www.musicfromouterspace.com/analogsynth/ADSR001/ADSR001.html

Scott
