<DIV>-better yet, ignore midi altogether... modify any older audio card you might have (by bypassing the coupling caps in the i/o circuits) to sample the voltages. if your audio card has eight inputs and eight outputs, you'll have eight cv's or gates to work with. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>i've found midi controlling my 2600 to be somewhat unfulfilling owing to the stepiness of anything other than key voltage, and note on/off... </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>a downside to this is that many older audio cards have fewer inputs than outputs. my gina (20 bit) card only has 2 inputs... so it's a bit of a pain to move knobs around... two at a time.</DIV>
