Analog Devices has already done this for us. not very hard to use, either... check the AD 8113 and 8114. i'd like to think that i am personally responsible for bringing a lower cost audio version to fruition... but nah, i probably just bugged them enough to respond once or twice. at that point, the video crosspoints were just tooo expensive. the "audio" versions are not much less. <BR>

as for the VCA part, the SSM2164 is still the best price/performance ration (quad current control amps), but the THAT chips or single VCA's from AD would likely sound better.<BR>
